The C.H.A.D Ministry is in memory of an eight year old boy, Ernest "Chad" Choice, who was kidnapped October 13, 1991 and later found murdered in June of 1996.
The Lord impressed on the hearts of members of Christian Teaching Center to begin the C.H.A.D. Ministry for all of Tyler, Texas and beyond, to know and believe that God can bring you to triumph over tragic situations.
It is our ultimate desire to bring restoration to people through Jesus Christ. |

I have a personal understanding and compassion for mothers with children who find themselves in crisis due to a variety of circumstances, whether it is homelessness, abuse of any kind, or lack due to an absence of financial income. |

I have experienced so much of this and I desire to provide assistance and assurance to our clients, that there is hope in Christ Jesus -- He will see us through anything! My passion is to show others that they have a destiny and a place in God! My goal is to offer hope where there is no hope, bring restoration through Christ, be an asset to the community and provide assistance to families who suffer as a result of lack and abuse. Through the Word of God, The C.H.A.D Ministry commits to providing counseling, job placement and permanent housing to the people of our Community.

We are in search of partners who will provide us with the avenue to pay for the basic day to day operations of the Ministry, such as mortgage & utilities. We are at a point where our largest grant has ended and the Ministry is searching for new benefactors who see our vision and want to become a part of what we are doing -- we need consistent donors and grants to assure a firm, steady flow of finances! By becoming a committed financial partner, your donations will also go toward the vision of a larger facility that will accomodate more families. The need is great as 3 to 4 people a week have to be turned away due to lack of space.
Because of the things I have endured, I know God is faithful. When my son was kidnapped, there was a ripple effect that seemed neverending. I lost my home, my business, transportation and friends. I was devastated and thought I could not make it another day. I am very much aware of the hopelessness felt by the mothers who come to me for assistance. I can identify with them and I know this is why I was given this ministry and awesome responsibility. I do not want any mother or child to go through the difficulties of life without someone who has been through the same difficulties and can show them the Way that God has revealed to me.
